The “Autumn is coming” meme has been circulating for weeks. People talked about the “gloomy season” and cooler weather, and wished they could put on flannel and walk under the kumquat trees. But honestly, this is just a warm-up. Because the real fall begins when Starbucks says it begins…and that’s now. Maybe Linus is waiting for The Great Pumpkin, but you’ve been waiting for Starbucks’ 2024 fall menu, and it’s officially released. Oh yes, the pumpkin spice latte is back—and with some new delicious treats.
Starting Thursday, August 22, you can find all of the classic fall beverages and menu items in Starbucks stores. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back (obviously), along with recent favorites Iced Pumpkin Cream Milk Tea and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Coffee.
But mixed in with all the classic Starbucks fall offerings, there’s the new Iced Apple Crisp non-dairy cream tea that’s both comforting and refreshing. (I’m a big fan of fall iced drinks when it’s still hot outside.) Apparently this drink was custom-made for customers and became an official fall menu item, with its warm chai spices and creamy oat milk combining perfectly and Added non-dairy apple crisp cold foam on top.
But if you like other Apple Crisp drinks, have no fear: the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shake Espresso and the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato are both back. Two other apple drinks will also be available exclusively in the Starbucks app – Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte and non-dairy Iced Honey Apple Almond Milk Flat White.
Food-wise, the incredible Starbucks Pumpkin Bread is back, as well as Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins and Baked Apple Croissants. For the kids (and you, duh), there’s also new Raccoon Cake Pops and upcoming Mummy Cookies (swoon) for extra fall fun.
So, if you’ve been waiting for the first official sign of fall, look no further than the Starbucks menu. You may have noticed fall Starbucks merchandise popping up in grocery stores, like pumpkin spice cold brew espresso, as well as K-cups, coffee grounds, fall creamers, and more. For those of you who enjoy making your own Starbucks at home to savor the flavors of fall, you absolutely can.
As usual, Starbucks is launching some fun new glasses, soda tumblers, and mugs in tons of perfect fall designs and colors. The Halloween products aren’t out yet, but it’s only a matter of time before the PSL season and the Ghost season meet up and bring us all the joy.
I mean, look at those colors. I specifically bought the metallic pumpkin orange tumbler for $22.95. They’re perfect whether you’re filling up at Starbucks or making your own PSL or fall treats at home.
It might not be time to kick off your boots and flannels just yet, but starting Thursday, August 22, you can get into the spirit of fall at any Starbucks.
