These new Monster High ‘Wednesday’ dolls will delight your teen’s dark heart

In the immortal words of the one and only Wednesday Addams, “Every day is about me”—especially today, and she was right. Mattel has just launched a new line of Monster High dolls, inspired by the hit Netflix series that tells the story of everyone’s favorite dark-hearted it girl. With the release date of Season 2 pushed back to 2025, we could all use some creepy, weird, mysterious, and scary stuff to tide us over.

Like Wednesday (and other writers, AAs, and serial killers), I am “stubborn, dedicated, and obsessed” and I am currently obsessed with those ridiculously gorgeous dolls and accessories! ——Inspired by the characters in the play. By Monster High standards, the attention to detail is next level, from Wednesday’s delicate snap of her fingers to what’s perched on her shoulders, to her Nevermore Academy uniform and overall funereal-chic aesthetic.

You can find the collection now at Walmart, Amazon, and other major retailers, with prices ranging from $25 to $65. While they are all suitable for kids ages 4 and up, no one (definitely not me) will judge you if you buy a set “for your kid” and then put it somewhere out of reach on a shelf.

This is the whole creepy part.

Monster High® Wednesday Addams Doll

Show your dark charm! Wearing the uniform of the Never Returning Academy and looking troubled, Wednesday looks like a totally “chic” harbinger of doom. Squatting on her shoulders completes the vibe—and, can we talk about those boots?

Mattel

stop. They are, ahem, killer.

Monster High® Wednesday Enid Sinclair Doll

Wednesday would no doubt assert that the colorful ensemble “looks like a rainbow of vomit,” but hey, that’s Enid. From her pink beret to her brightly colored claws to her electric yellow shoes, Wednesday’s housemate is ready for it all.

Monster High® Rave’N Wednesday Doll

If my 13 year old wanted to be inspired by this doll he’d probably put me on the guillotine WednesdayViral dance scene. Wearing a gothic gown, she was clearly ready to belt out “Goo Goo Muck” like a ghoul.

Monster High® Paint It Black Fashion Pack™ Accessories

What would a murderous teenager do without her accessories? This fashion pack is perfect for replacing Wednesday’s #OOTD (“Outfit of the Day” or, if your soul is as dark as Wednesday’s, “Oddly Obscure Torture Device”). Your teen can also use these accessories to add a bit of Addams Family style to their other Monster High dolls.

if you are not enough WednesdayMattel has also just launched a Fisher-Price Special Edition Minifigure Collector’s Figure Set, which includes perfectly petite Wednesday Addams and Thing, Enid Sinclair, Marilyn Thornhill and redesigned minifigure statues Hyde monster.

You can buy Monster High x Wednesday Cooperate now, so choose your poison.
