Jennifer Garner Hits the Pumpkin Patch to Share ‘Nerd Farm Facts’

Jennifer Garner is sharing her “Nerd Farm Facts!”

The 52-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday, August 25, to share a video of herself spending time in a pumpkin patch and offering some tips on how to grow the vegetable.

“Nerd Farm Facts,” she said, wearing overalls over a T-shirt and holding a yellow flower. “This flower is both female and male.”

“There’s a pistol in there and it needs pollen,” she continued. “Do you know who’s responsible? Bee! Thank you bee!

“Once the pollen lands on the middle pistol, the magic continues,” Garner added.

“It just keeps growing, growing, growing,” Garner said as he continued to show the flower to the camera. “This will curl and dry out.”

Picking up a pumpkin, she added: “Sometimes, it’s not like that. It’s like a little umbilical cord, it’s crazy.

“‘Dear Mom, congratulations,'” Garner said, holding up two unripe pumpkins. “‘Today your pumpkins are size B. They will keep growing until they grow into big, beautiful pumpkins.’ ”

Farmer Garner then ends the clip with a clip of her sitting next to a large, ripe pumpkin.

Garner dished out nerdy facts about the farm after she revealed she faced huge fears during her trip to Japan earlier this month.

She shared photos of herself eating ramen and posted photos of an oyster farmer catching shellfish in a net.

“A victory for the former picky eater,” the actress said between bites of abalone.

The video is titled: “A tribute to the life force that nurtures us.”
