Thirty-six years later, Ryder returns to play Lydia in Burton’s long-awaited sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Now a TV star and mother, the character still retains the spiked fringe and funeral garb from the first film, and much like Lydia, Ryder is still the same person she was in her youth.
