Wow, baby! Former leading man of season 14 Bachelor colton underwood and now-husband Jordan C. Brown are officially parents!
Underwood, 32, announced that he and Brown were expecting their first child, son Colton Brown Underwood Bishop, sharing the good news on Instagram.
“Our world is a million times better with you in it. Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood 💙 September 26, 2024,” Underwood wrote in his caption, alongside Several photos of the couple’s newborn baby boy.
In one photo, Underwood and Brown hold Bishop in a sling, the first time the family of three has been photographed together. Other black-and-white photos show Bishop sleeping soundly, clutching his father’s finger.

“That was one of the early connections in our relationship. We both wanted to be dads,” Underwood said. “But it’s been an incredible experience for us to go through this together and I can’t wait to see Jordan become a father.”
Underwood has been documenting his journey to parenthood on his podcast, Father’s identity, In an earlier episode, he and Brown created and froze embryos that are now being tested with their surrogate mother, whose identity they chose to keep secret.
The couple first began their journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and surrogacy two years ago, around the same time they began planning their wedding.
“Our doctor actually asked our surrogate to tell us, which I thought was pretty special. She texted us and shared the exciting news, which I think was a moment of relief for us,” said a former NFL player. “We’re so lucky to have her, but she also makes us feel like we’re a part of it, which is really special.”
After learning he was going to be a parent, Underwood said he and Brown kept things private just to understand the life-changing news before they started sharing it with family and friends.
“Everyone is really excited. My family especially knows how long I’ve wanted to be a dad, and they also know my journey of coming out. [Wanting] Becoming a father kept me from being open for a long time,” he admits. “So for me, it’s really important and exciting to be able to say we’re pregnant.”

“I’ve been running from myself for a long time. I’ve hated myself for a long time and I’m gay. I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been dealing with it,” the reality star said. “The next step in all of this is letting people know. I’m still nervous. Of course, it’s a journey.
“I’m emotional, but in a good, happy, positive way,” he added. “I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been in my life, and it means the world to me.”
