Travis Kelce is a quadruple threat at this point: Super Bowl-winning tight end, host of the game show “Are You Smarter than Celebrities,” Ryan Murphy’s horror star weirdand of course the backup dancers from the Eras Tour (that’s a quadruple threat, right?). He’s had a big year, but thankfully his mom keeps him humble. What use are mothers!
In an interview with Extra TV, Donna Kelce revealed something about her son cannot Do:
“He can’t clean, he can’t cook,” she said.
“He’s getting better. I think he’s getting some help,” she added, hinting that Travis’ superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift may be driving his recent progress.
“No matter what he tries, both boys, no matter what they try to do… whenever they try to do something, they put their heart and soul into it and try to do the best they can. That’s just who they are.” That’s me It’s not something they’re taught, it’s in their DNA,” Donna continued.
In fact, we’ve seen Travis and Swift cooking together before, in a short clip Swift shared to YouTube of her hit song “Fortnightly.” As Swift whipped up a bowl of something delicious-looking (pasta, maybe?), Travis stood behind her and kissed her cheek.
Travis said during a Chiefs press conference in June that he enjoys spending time in the kitchen with Swift, who is known to love cooking. When asked what they cooked together, he declined to comment, and the reason was sweet.
“I respect the question, but I will keep it to myself because I enjoy cooking with her so much that I would rather keep it private,” he said.
However, he later mentioned during the press conference that Swift “makes great pies and cinnamon rolls.”
Drop the recipe, Travis!
I’ve been making Taylor Swift-style milk tea cookies for years, so maybe Travis’ new love for cooking will encourage some football fans to get their hands on a stand mixer too. Chief Chai Cookies? Tight-tail tiramisu? The options are endless.
