Life seems brighter since Jason Kelce came into the world. Not only is he such a cute teddy bear, but he’s so…real. He’s funny and honest. He is strong but sensitive. He’s eloquent, insightful, and somehow able to make someone wearing a Mexican wrestler’s mask dancing behind a DJ booth in Vegas very likable.
His significant other, Kelly Kelce (a friend from Scary Mommy), and mother of three daughters, Wyatt Elizabeth (5), Elliotte Ray (3) and Bennett Llewellyn (1) — also captured America’s hearts with their understated elegance.
The entire Kells family is…the best!
Jason, 36, has been keeping busy since his retirement, working with a number of different brands and companies when he’s not an ESPN commentator.
In his latest Instagram video, Jason introduced his new partnership with toymaker Spin Master for Hatchimals, a popular children’s toy.
On the spot, he grabbed Hatchmar, tried to tap it and shake it, then demonstrated football control.
“It’s almost like a gift within a gift. You get two gifts!” he said.
When the Hatchimal lights up and is ready to hatch, Kells is excited to see what’s inside.
“This is probably what Kylie feels like when she’s 36 weeks pregnant,” he joked. “It’s like, ‘Get out of here!'”
When with peoplewho is excited about announcing some new members of the Hatchimals lineup.
“I wasn’t a parent when Hatchimals first launched, but now that I have three daughters, this is right up my alley,” Jason shared.
“Watching their faces light up when they get their new Hatchimals is priceless. The magical mist, the surprise – it’s awesome! I gotta say, Pufficorn? An instant hit with the Kelce family.”
After the clip was posted on his Instagram, the internet couldn’t get enough of how hilarious the ad was, including the fact that the tough former NFL star is now promoting an adorable children’s toy.
“Big girl dad energy! Love it,” one user wrote.
“This is not on my bingo card. I love it,” said another.
“😂🤣😂🤣The incubator got you too! Jisansan dad!! 😂🤣😂🤣🙌,” wrote another.
Another wrote: “The ultimate girl dad 🙌🐣❤️”
One user joked about how a promotion for the new toy might go.
“*Some marketing meetings*
Execution 1: Let’s do a campaign with Jason Kelce. He is everywhere now.
Execution 2: Oh, how cool would it be, like letting his daughters hatch one and let them play with it? Adorable giggles and smiles, the whole enchilada?
Execution 1: No, just Jason playing it on his own.
Jason has been open about his love for being a “girl dad.” In a May 2023 interview, he told People magazine that having a daughter brought him a lot of joy.
“I love all my girls,” he told People magazine.
“Before I had kids, I told myself that if I had a daughter, I would treat them like sons. I don’t think you should treat kids any differently,” Jason continued.
“When I had a daughter, I thought, ‘I’m not going to spoil her, I’m going to raise her strong. She’s going to be strong.’ The minute she came out, I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s It won’t work. “”
