Dave Grohl’s Wife Jordyn Blum ‘Trying to Move On’ (Exclusive Source)

Dave Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum are doing their best to keep their family intact.

Three months after the Foo Fighters rocker’s shocking announcement that he would be the father of a baby girl he fathered outside of marriage with Bloom, a source tells People The couple is trying to move on.

“It was such a shock to Jordyn. Her first reaction was to get divorced. The betrayal felt too heavy. “But as the weeks passed, she had some space to think about what she would do if the family separated. Would feel very sad. ”

The source added that the couple’s marriage “still isn’t great,” but “they are trying to move forward.”

Representatives for Grohl and Bloom did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

In September, the star announced the birth of his fourth daughter, writing in an Instagram statement that he planned to be a “loving and supportive parent” to his child.

“I love my wife and children and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote. “We appreciate your concern for all of the children involved and let’s move forward together.”

In November, a source told People that Bloom, a partner at an interior design firm, “has had time to process everything” and that things at home have “calmed down.”

Grohl and his wife were both spotted without their wedding rings in October, though an insider said in November that the rocker was no longer working with divorce lawyers and “wanted to work things out” with his wife.

“Dave has always prioritized his family,” another source said. “He knew he messed up. In a situation like this, you don’t realize what you have until you’re about to lose it. He didn’t want to lose his family.

The Foo Fighters canceled a music festival show scheduled for September and have no further upcoming shows.
