You know the dress. You know the dance. You know that creepy, weird, mysterious and spooky look. Now, this Halloween, you can host your own animatronic dance in your front yard on Wednesday.
Lowe’s is launching some totally spooky Halloween decorations this year, and one of their big new collections includes some iconic moments from the hit Netflix series Wednesdayas well as some decor inspired by the entire Addams Family fan base.
and some truly perfect pop culture representation (I’ll be enjoying the Snoopy-inspired It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Decoration), the absolute best entry in the new Lowe’s Halloween lineup is Wednesday’s animatronic dance. Standing 5 feet tall and lifelike, it perfectly performs Netflix’s dance with Wednesday’s matching skirt and braids and those creepy swinging arms from the movie.
The head also moves from side to side, and the animatronic itself plays music, so you just plug it in and let everyone marvel at your new personality. You’re no longer a person who decorates for Halloween – you’ll be known as “Wednesday Dancing House.” (Perhaps better than being called “the house with king-size candy.”)
In addition to Wednesday, other Addams Family animatronics include the 4-foot-tall musical Cousin Itt and the tabletop animatronic Thing.
For Disney fans, Lowe’s also has some Haunted Mansion-themed pieces. I particularly like the mirror, which lights up blue and plays an instrumental version of “Grim Grinning Ghosts.” The haunted house cloche features hitchhiking ghosts inside and swirls of confetti, and the cloche also includes light and sound effects, as well as an instrumental version of “Grim Grinning Ghosts.”
If you haven’t been to Lowe’s to check out their Halloween aisle, let this be your sign to check it out. It’s basically a complete Halloween event, and starting in mid-August, you’ll be able to find everything you need to have the best house on the block. I especially love the tons of smaller Halloween decorations that are perfect for sprucing up your home, or if you just have a small porch or porch to work with. These smaller pieces are also more cute rather than super scary, so that’s great if your kids prefer a more subdued Halloween look.
I mean, those three ghosts are probably the cutest Halloween stuff I’ve ever seen.
You can find all of these new Halloween items and more online at Lowes.com in mid-August, with items appearing in stores soon. Prices will also be announced at that time. But act fast—those dancing Wednesdays will be gone from your shopping cart.
