Zach Bryan and Beyoncé among top nominees for 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards

  • The full list of nominees for the 2024 People’s Choice National Awards has been announced
  • Zach Bryan received the most nominations, followed by Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs
  • The second annual awards show, hosted by Shania Twain, will air live on NBC and Peacock on September 26

Who will win the 2024 People’s Choice Country Award?

NBC and Peacock announced the full list of nominees for this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards on August 14. Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.

The annual country music awards show launched last year, and this year’s show added several new categories: female song, male song, group/duo song, cover song, new artist song and song that tells a story.

At the first awards ceremony in 2023, Jelly Roll won four awards and became the biggest winner of the night, followed closely by Wallen, who won three awards. The late Toby Keith died in February at age 62, just months after he was honored with the Country Icon Award, while Wynonna Judd received a special Country Champion Award.

Shania Twain will serve as host of the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, which will air on NBC and Peacock on September 26 at 8pm ET/PT at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville Live broadcast.

“Country music has some of the most passionate music fans, and we as artists are lucky to have support while doing what we love,” Twain said in a statement when he announced the hosting gig last month. “I’m honored to host a ceremony to celebrate these incredible fans.”

The Grammy winner, who was nominated for a 2024 tour for her latest Las Vegas residency, added at the time: “Get ready for an unforgettable show with tons of hair, Glamor, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances.
