Mother’s careful preparation for her daughter’s college life goes viral

Sending your children to college is no easy task. There’s a lot to buy, pack, and ship to campus so that your (now adult) child can have the best college dorm experience of their life.

From sheets to medicine to monogrammed towels, a TikTok mom who calls herself a “professional housewife who shares great finds/hacks” has totally mastered the college packing game. Now, she’s sharing her results with her followers.

“Okay, so my daughter’s pile continues to grow,” Sandy DiTullio said in her now-viral video.

“She’s going to be a freshman at LSU, and man, we’re just going to keep working on some things. I want to make sure she’s fully prepared.”

So, what are the must-haves on her list? Air purifiers, handheld steamers (“You have to buy one. It’s awesome,” she raves), and vacuum cleaners, to name a few.

After several of her fans commented on a previous video of her sharing her daughter’s haul, she took note of everything she might have missed. Thanks to her followers, she grabs all the recommendations.

“Let me tell you, I read every comment and went out today to pick up every item I lost,” she said, showing off a giant plastic container filled with every item you could possibly think of. drug.

DiTullio also showed off her daughter’s laundry facilities, including a laundry bag filled with all the bells and whistles needed for laundry day.

“So, she had a monogrammed laundry bag that she gave as a graduation gift…and we also had detergent,” she said, before explaining that she was not a Tide laundry detergent girl.

“I just think the liquid smells better. It cleans better. That’s what we do. That’s what we’ve used in our house for years. So she’ll be using the same stuff there,” she explained.

Also in the laundry bag were some stain remover, dryer sheets, shoe cleaning wipes, wrinkle remover spray, and some nice Clorox bleached sheets.

After her video went viral, some TikTok users praised the mom for being well prepared, with some offering more helpful advice.

“This is what a newborn’s nest will look like after 18 years! Note to self!” one user wrote.

“Yeah, that’s a nice dose!” praised another.

One user suggested, “Unpack as much as possible before you get there – the litter box will be full and it will be difficult to clear out her litter when you get her settled.”

Great tip!

“You are such a loving mom and I hope you all have a smooth transition. Because of course I didn’t 😅 I wish my mom had set me up so well because my anxiety would be better,” said another.

Some users provided additional items that DiTullio might want to consider, such as a set of gadgets, a flashlight, and a sewing kit.

This type of set goes above and beyond for college students! When your kid texts you and says, “My XYZ is gone!” you can also just buy something on Amazon Prime to bring to their dorm room.
