Woman’s surprise birthday party for boyfriend goes viral (Exclusive)

A woman is going viral on TikTok after she threw a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend, who was convinced everyone had forgotten about his special day.

When Morgann Greene, 24, of Indianlantic, Fla., decided to plan the ultimate surprise party for her boyfriend, Kyler Doane, 25, she had no idea it would went viral, but her video ended up going viral.

In an exclusive interview with People, Green, who is pursuing a career in real estate, said she came up with the idea to surprise her boyfriend of two years a week before his big day.

“Honestly, I’ve been struggling with what to get him for his birthday and I thought throwing him a surprise party with his closest friends would probably be better than anything I could buy him,” she said.

Of course, for the surprise to be a surprise, everyone has to be involved – well, except her boyfriend.

“All his friends know. His family, his brother and sister-in-law are from Tampa, one of his best friends is from Miami, so we basically have people from all over the state,” Green said. “He was very surprised and everyone did a great job.

As for the decision to have a golf-themed celebration, Green said it was a no-brainer because her boyfriend owns a fishing charter company and loves golf.

“We named our dog Bogey because he loves golf so much,” she said.

Another key aspect of the party? The golf-themed cake was Green’s own creation and not made from scratch.

“I did buy a plain white cake from the store,” she said, “and then I bought the decorations from Amazon and put them all together.”

The cake was covered in green frosting to depict a golf course and filled with lots of cute decorations including golf balls, a golf cart with clubs, and a golfer taking a swing.

When asked whether he real Dorn thinks his loved one forgot his birthday, telling People magazine he’s “pretty sure.”

“There were still a handful of people who reached out to me, but obviously not everyone at the party reached out,” he said. “I’m not angry, but I’m very disappointed.”

Green added, “He was sad, but he said, ‘It’s okay, I just want to spend your birthday with you anyway.'”

To maintain the integrity of the secret commando mission, Greene revealed to PEOPLE that she had guests park on the other side of the street so Dorn wouldn’t see them.

“When he got home, my car was the only car in the driveway,” she said.

Donne told us the highlight of the birthday celebration was having 20 of his loved ones there to celebrate him, which also included a pool tournament that lasted until 1am

“This is indeed a party,” Dawn said proudly.

“It was a lot involved, very detailed,” Green said, adding that over the course of a week, she “had to hide my phone” every time a party guest texted her.

Although before this, Dorn said the couple had never planned a surprise party for each other, now he definitely wants to do it more often.

In fact, he told People magazine that “of course” he wants to return the favor on Green’s next birthday. However, he had to handle things in a highly confidential manner so she wouldn’t get suspicious…especially now.

“Maybe I’ll do it a week in advance,” he said.
