Alex Rodriguez releases cryptic update on Jennifer Lopez divorce filing

After news broke that Jennifer Lopez had filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, Alex Rodriguez shared a cryptic update on social media.

On Tuesday, August 20, the same day that his ex-fiancée, 55, filed for divorce from her husband of two years, 52, Rodriguez, 49, shared a quote on his Instagram Story: “You either go One way or another.

His quote is written in blue font in front of a tan background. It was originally shared on the platform by The Concept, a female-led creative agency based in New York City.

A source told People magazine that Rodriguez’s Instagram post had “nothing to do” with Lopez. The former New York Yankees player began a romance with the singer in February 2017.

People magazine confirmed that the former couple called off their two-year engagement in March 2021, officially sharing the news in a statement in April of that year.

Their joint statement said: “We have realized that we are better off as friends and look forward to continuing to do so. We will continue to work together on common businesses and projects and support each other. We wish each other and each other’s children the best.” ” Read with people.

Lopez legally married Affleck in July 2022 in Las Vegas. It was their second attempt to create a future together after postponing their last wedding in September 2003 and canceling it shortly afterwards.

A source told People that Lopez decided to file for divorce because she “couldn’t wait any longer,” adding, “She’s trying so hard to make things work, but she’s heartbroken. The kids are Top priority, as always.
