Emily Deschanel Says Certain Aspects of ‘Bones’ Didn’t Come Through Well When She Released Replay Podcast (Exclusive)

The couple just announced their bone Rewatch the podcast FoolProduced by Lemonada Media and finally airing on September 19, they say it’s been a lot of fun going back and revisiting the show – even though they stumbled across a rare Something they feel they need to apologize for.

“I would say it makes you reflect on what time was like,” Deschanel told People of the forensic drama, which also stars David Boreanaz. , which aired from 2005 to 2017.

“There’s some uncool behavior and some stereotypes that need to be apologized for,” she said. “But other than that, it’s totally a trip down memory lane.”

Gallo noted that because she didn’t watch the show as a series regular until its fourth season, there were many episodes she hadn’t seen until recently.

“I’m seeing a lot of it for the first time,” Gallo said. “So I’m reacting as a fan, trying to guess who the killer is. But the truth is, the podcast is basically a vehicle where Emily and I are able to hang out and talk and gossip. There’s a lot of, ‘Oh, we need to get back to talking about this show.

Deschanel agrees. “That’s the only challenge,” she laughs. “Cara and I are good friends. We met on the show and have become closer since then and we love chatting. We can’t get off the phone. Now we have a podcast where we’re supposed to talk business and we’ll just chat for 45 minutes,” she Just kidding.

Deschanel added that they will have a number of guest stars on the show who will talk about some of the crazier behind-the-scenes moments, such as how Gallo returned to work 11 days after giving birth to her first child.

“We were crazy,” Gallo admits, returning to work so quickly. “I remember Emily saying, ‘What’s going to happen. You’re going to take my trailer.'” She actually helped me move a rocking chair to the trailer.

While they were busy rewatching the show, they also enjoyed bone Through streaming, new audiences are being discovered.

“It’s always had a loyal following,” Deschanel said. “There’s a group of people who watch it over and over and then re-watch it from the beginning. So it’s exciting that it has longevity and is still relevant almost 20 years later.”

Any thoughts on rebooting the show?

“I’m doing it today. I’m free!” joked Gallo, who is currently filming Season 2 platonic With Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne.

Deschanel said that was always a possibility. “I think I would be interested in something like this. I mean, it’s not necessarily something I would dream of. I feel like we tell a lot of stories, so we have to have some new perspectives on those people and those stories and Those dynamics are interesting to me.
