Fisher-Price launches Britney Spears minifigure collection

Fisher-Price has just announced that minifigure collectible sets commemorating some of pop legend Britney Spears’ most iconic music moments will be available this winter! Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary pop star’s hit debut album, baby one more time, These four statues are every millennial’s dream.

Each statue is inspired by iconic looks from Britney’s music videos, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Oops!…I Did It Again,” “I’m a Slave 4 U” and “Toxic”. These also happen to be some of her best and most memorable musical moments. We all remember schoolgirl uniforms, red leotards, boas and cabin crew attire vividly.

“These adorable collectibles bring a retro vibe and fans will dance to Britney’s bops until the end of the world,” Fisher wrote in a press release.

The set also comes in a decorative window box packaging for those who don’t want to actually play with the statue. Each statue stands over 2.5 inches tall, has its own background to match its iconic look, and “plenty of fun hidden details for Lucky fans to discover.”

Say what you will about Britney Spears (actually, if it’s meant to be mean, don’t say it), but she’s absolutely a music icon. She changed the entire fabric of pop music. Today’s popular girls—Olivia, Sabrina, Chappelle, and yes, even our girl Taylor—run because Britney walks. She paved the way just as those before her — Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and others — had done for her. She breaks boundaries. She was never afraid to be herself. Her legacy, encapsulated in these little figurines, is completely deserved!

Am I too emotional and nostalgic about certain children’s toys? perhaps! But that doesn’t make them any less adorable!

The newest addition to the Little People Collector series is now available for pre-order in limited quantities exclusively at Target and will be generally available in early December, just in time for the holidays and Britney’s 43rd birthday!
