It used to be that once the Christmas shelves at your local store were filled, you knew it was time to celebrate the season. But for the past 15 years, there’s nothing to say”Oh, Christmas is here” Like the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas countdown show. This year, you can get into the holly, jolly spirit early, as Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2024 kicks off on Friday, October 18 at 8:00 pm ET. While some of your favorites will be included, Hallmark will also introduce up to 47 new Christmas movies through Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mysteries and Hallmark+. Now, this is how you celebrate your 15th anniversary.
As the countdown to Christmas begins, you can watch all-new holiday movies on the Hallmark Channel every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 pm, and on Hallmark Mysteries every Thursday at 8:00 pm. (Thanksgiving week, you can find that new movie on Wednesday nights.)
If the Christmas events aren’t enough, new streaming platform Hallmark+ will premiere 7 of these 47 new movies, as well as four seasonal series, so you always have something festive to watch. If you haven’t joined yet, plans start at $7.99/month, and you also get a one-month free trial.
In addition to shows and movies, Hallmark+ will be streaming a ton of your favorite Hallmark Christmas movies, including the entire 2023 lineup, but I’m also personally excited about the series starring Jonathan Bennett and Melissa Peterman (Melissa Peterman) is excited about a fun reality show starring Looking for Mr. Christmas. in this bachelor-Meet Santa Spin, where 10 handsome, worthy Hallmark men will compete to win a role in a Hallmark movie opposite Jessica Lowndes happy holidays. During the holidays I always have Hallmark as my background so I can capture some sweet romance and festive family cheer whenever it plays, but here are some of my favorite games especially Looking forward to sitting down with a cup of cocoa and enjoying:
- Confessions of a Christmas Letter, Premiering at 8pm ET, Sunday, November 17 – This fun movie stars Angela Kinsey (scream!) as an “eccentric family matriarch” filled with Misfortune, romance and a Christmas letter-writing competition.
- Christmas in the 1990s, Premiering Friday, November 29 at 6 p.m. ET – The film stars Eva Bourne as a workaholic lawyer who finds herself traveling back in time to Christmas 1999 to find out… Lots of things went wrong. It must be full of pure nostalgia, and for those of us who fondly remember Christmases in the ’90s, it’s sure to make us feel that way.
- Holiday touchdown: A Chiefs love story, Premiering Saturday, November 30 at 8pm ET — While the movie doesn’t star Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce, this adorable football-themed movie does include a lucky hat Chiefs hat, lots of family love and some cameos from Coach Andy Reid. It looks so fun and energetic, who can deny that?
- Rich in sugar, Premiering Saturday, December 7 at 8pm ET — The film stars Maggie Lawson as a woman who wants to create a flawless family Christmas, just like she does in all her favorite As seen in Christmas movies. (Related.) But things get less than perfect when a character from the movie she’s watching pops up to help.
- Santa class, Premiering Saturday, December 14 at 8pm ET — Full of sweet holiday magic, this film stars Kimberley Sustad as a woman who must take over her father’s struggling Santa School.
