Jennifer Lopez shares first Instagram Story since announcing divorce

Jennifer Lopez is returning to social media following her divorce from Ben Affleck.

this atlas The 55-year-old actress reposted a selfie from her fan page to her Instagram Stories on Friday, August 23, and the photo had a festive feel to it.

In the photo, Lopez posed for a sexy selfie, rocking her thick blond hair and wearing a cozy blush two-piece. But the big Christmas tree in the background – with gift boxes and flowers underneath – deserves a mention, too, as does a wardrobe stand.

This selfie appears to be from a glam party in December 2020. In a similar photo from a different angle, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton described the look as “luxe glamor Barbie.”

The photo is the first time Lopez has posted on social media since filing to end her and Affleck’s two-year marriage on Tuesday, August 20.

In court documents obtained by People, Lopez cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup and listed the date of separation as April 26.

A source told People on Thursday, August 22, that they had the best intentions when they rekindled their romance, saying the two “really love each other and it all happened really fast.” (Affleck and Lopez were engaged in the early 2000s but broke up days before their wedding.)

“They really wanted to give it a try and they did,” the source, who is now back together, added. “These are two people in love, and who wouldn’t be into it? The whole world wants it.”

The source also told People Accountant 2 The actor and Lopez are “very different people.”

“She’s very public and wants to go out, while he’s more reserved and happy to stay home,” the source said.

Lopez and Affleck have spent much of the summer apart, but just last week she was seen leaving Affleck’s rental house in Brentwood, Calif., where he was at 8 Celebrated his 52nd birthday on January 15th.
