See, Halloween isn’t just for kids. This holiday offers fun for all ages, whether that means wearing clothes your mom found in college that she would have burned, or bundling up and handing out candy on the porch after the party days are over.
Yes, Halloween is for everyone, but maybe there is a specific time and place for certain decorations?
Kourtney Kardashian has never been one to shy away from controversy, and her Halloween decorations are no exception.
Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker, are known for going all out for Halloween, from their couple costumes (last year they were Beetlejuice and Lydia) to their elaborately decorated home.
The couple attracted some attention this week when Kardashian posted on Instagram showing off their choice of inflatables for the yard: two skeletons, er, bones.
Sure, Halloween is weird… but it doesn’t have to be in That Way.
Most things the Kardashians do tend to spark outrage, and this is no different. The comments section is filled with criticism of the giant straddling skeleton inflatable.
One user said: “As a mother of four I find it disgusting that you are doing this to these inflatables.”
“You have kids and you think the skull is in the right place. Ugh, so tacky,” said another.
Personally, I’m in the “tacky” camp, not the “scar your kid” camp. I just think the obvious trend in NSFW skeleton decorations is kind of, um, weird.
Instagram user Lyndsey Horton shared a video showing a similar encounter she had with skeletons who were having a Halloween party.
Horton posted a video of a display filled with skull figurines at Michael’s craft store. wide Various positions.
“Hey, Michael, are you okay?” Holden asked with a smile.
Commenters on Lindsay’s post were a little more forgiving than those on Kardashian’s post.
One user joked: “They’re awesome, keep them alive.”
“Okay, but I love them…” admitted another.
Another user even pointed out the obvious connection to the Kardashian decor, with one of the statues even striking the same straddling pose.
“Taking kourt and trav lines to another level🙃,” the user said.
A quick (and brave) Google search for “skeleton sex decoration” turns up statues of Michael, and inflatable statues resembling a Kardashian-Barker, but nothing else more explicit.
Is this the start of a trend? If so, can we…no?
