The best bras for a long day at Disney

Anyone who has been to Disney World knows that you don’t spend a day under normal circumstances. Therefore, you may need something other than a regular bra. Just like you have to be very careful about pulling out a pair of shoes from your closet that can handle 10-mile walks, splash zones, and sweltering heat, you also need to choose your chest supports thoughtfully and carefully.

Before starting my Disney trip, I asked some of my favorite brands to send me their best all-day, all-weather, fun Disney bra options. I also recruited nine colleagues to report on the bras that fit them best.

After five days in the parks, I’ve come to some pretty important conclusions about what kind of underwear works best at Disney. They are as follows:

  • Comfort is king. Of course, you want your breasts to look cute. But best of all, your bra can stay on for up to 16 hours a day without constricting your shoulders, constricting your back, or poking you with ouchie underwires.
  • You might get it wet. Whether you’re caught in a downpour in Florida, sweat it out on everything you own, or get a front-row seat on a Tiana Bayou adventure like me, there’s a good chance your bra will be worn at some point during the day Get wet. You have to ask yourself: Will getting it wet ruin it? Will it dry quickly? If it gets soaked, will my breasts be exposed too much?
  • Humidity, Lord, humidity! There is a level of humidity in Florida that I have not experienced anywhere else. I’m not exaggerating when I say that in the Magic Kingdom, sweat used to be collection In my bra, between my breasts. There’s not much you can do about humidity, but you can choose a bra that can handle humidity better than other bras.
  • This is a marathon. Should walking around Disney be classified as a sport? perhaps. Especially when quarreling with children, playing on various amusement equipment, and pushing strollers. You need very secure and long-lasting support.

Yes, it does look weird that I’m going to Disney with a dozen bras. But I learned some important lessons about what works and what doesn’t. So, without further ado, here are my favorite picks, as well as my colleagues’ top picks.

EBY all-day balcony

This bra is my top pick for the week. It provides support and surprising lift while also offering very comfortable straps and straps. The coverage is also great while still feeling cute and even a little sexy. It also has a racerback option, perfect for tank tops or for a little extra support. This is my favorite bra in general!

Absolutely minimal necessities

This is my favorite bra of all time. It’s lightweight, holds me in (or up), and easily wears under a t-shirt. It has no frills and you can throw it in the washing machine.

Tru & Co Tru Body Lift Spoon

These bras rank #1 for all-day comfort—they’re feather-light and you’ll feel zero pain in or around the straps. They also resist heat and sweat well. On the other hand, there are some downsides: they don’t offer as much support as some of the bras mentioned above, and if you get a front-row seat on a Tiana ride, they’ll definitely show everything.

GAP ribbed bra

I love these simple bralettes because they have the feel of a ribbed A-shirt, just in bra form. They’re comfortable all day long and look cute paired with a tank top and tee. They also dry quickly. There are a few disadvantages: they don’t provide a ton of support, and if they get wet, you may get some free show. A huge bonus: they’re on sale right now for $12, so you can’t resist!

Chantelle C Magnifique seamless unlined mini skirt

Over the past few years, my breasts have grown quite large – I’m a 36G. . Comfortable, breathable, and available in extended sizes. It does a great job of keeping the girls in place. Tie shirts that sometimes pull at the breasts always seem to work better with this bra.

Woxer Boss 2.0 bra

On my third day at Disney, I asked myself an important question: Is this a sports bra situation? I mean, look, I’m upside down on a roller coaster, scurrying towards snacks, and holding up a bag of snacks – when am I going to try to wear something meaningful? It was at this point that I decided to try the Woxer Boss bra, which is the perfect hybrid between an everyday bra and a sports bra. It’s great for “light” activities, still looks nice and cute, and is thin and lightweight while still providing excellent support. I love the racerback, the smooth, seamless feel, and the material, great Used for humidity and sweat.

EBY seamless cans

You might think that wearing a full tank top under your shirt at Disney would leave you feeling hot all day long, but this seamless tank top is incredibly lightweight and somehow supportive without feeling like you’re at all Not wearing anything. It also has a handle on the bottom so it can lie flat all day long. Not sure how it would work for people with larger breasts, but I’m a C cup and am very happy with this solution.

Wacoal Allure elevated underwire bra

I wear my everyday bra when I’m at Disney because it’s a lightweight workhouse that’s perfect for almost any situation. I absolutely HAVE to leave the house with some underwire, but this Wacoal number is so lightweight. It gives me a lot of support without making me feel like I’m trapped in a miserable cloth cage. Also, the bone on the side is actually high enough so it never cuts into my skin or folds over. Now, the mesh cups are very thin and very unstructured, so it looks very ’70s boob-y, and if you get wet on a water ride, it might look a little too braless. But for me, it’s worth it to leave the park every day without a half-moon of rubs under each boob. Plus, you can almost always buy last year’s colors somewhere.

EBY comfort bra

The point of this option is that it disappears on your body while still providing support. It’s stylish, smooth, comfortable and lightweight. But at the same time, it provides just enough padding and support to keep you feeling somewhat shaped and secure. This bra also gets wet during our daily activities and dries surprisingly quickly.

Hollywood Fashion Secrets Silicone Blouse

I never thought that, as a DDD girl, I would be able to walk around Disney World without a bra without looking grubby, but these nipple shields (if not bras, then bra-adjacent) keep me comfortable and cool while No need to give everyone a free show (I breastfed both of my kids for 4 years: my nipples always stuck out a little). Just peel off the reusable backing like a sticker and stick them on your chest. Available in two sizes – one for AC cup and one for D+ cup. I wore these multiple times over the weekend and they still showed no signs of losing stickiness or effectiveness. They are washable and apparently you can use them up to 25 times!

Truekind Wireless Shape Bra

This bra is for those who want lots of support and lift but don’t want to go the underwire route. I like the supportive feel throughout the day, despite the extra material and padding. The lower band is very sweaty, but the bra still makes the list because of its overall all-day comfort and look.
