Target Dollar Spot is always full of goodies that will give you a spark of joy, but let’s be honest, there’s nothing quite like it during the last few months of the year. you can find so There are so many cute holiday items out there, from home decor to mugs and crafts. This is always the first stop for my three daughters and I when we head to Target, which is why I have to share the item my 2-year-old immediately grabbed and threw into the cart: the Target Dollar Spot Disco Ball Spider.
you. This could be the perfect Halloween decoration. It’s eerie but fascinating. Fun and sparkly, but a little weird. It’s just the right size and price (yes, it’s only $1) for a large Halloween scene or mantelscape, if you just want to put one or two on a bookshelf or kitchen counter for a touch of the bone-chilling Wonderful idea, it works too. Available in silver and rose gold (the spiders on the web look a little more pink than the ones in the store), there are a million gorgeous things you can do with these disco ball spiders.
These items aren’t available online, so you’ll have to check your Target Dollar Spot to find them. Granted, I was there in early September, but there seemed to be plenty available! Although one color choice is rose gold and the other is silver, I think both colors are fairly neutral in the Halloween world. Unlike purples, greens, and oranges, you can use these spiders no matter what other decor you have, from brighter neon colors to even subtle ghost tones.
There are other disco ball items, including a bunch of cute disco ball cups with straws and witch hats on them. (My girls really wanted those, too.) It seems like such a vibrant and fun time, and disco balls are everywhere, and it’s great to have them as part of a classic Halloween decor.
In addition to popping them onto surfaces (which is totally fine), here are some other ideas for using the disco ball spiders from the Target Dollar Spot:
- Use them as place cards for your Halloween dinner party. Just make a small name tag between the head and body.
- Use them as spooky and enchanting Halloween party favors.
- Lay out the fake spider webs like a runner in the middle of the table and then spread them all over.
- Hot glue them to a pumpkin, crawl up the side of the pumpkin and sit on it, then place a bunch of them on your porch or curved steps.
- Use fishing line and a bit of hot glue to hang them from a chandelier or light fixture so that when the light hits them, they’ll also add some sparkle around the room.
While you’re shopping for disco ball spiders at Target, be sure to check out the other Halloween items in the seasonal aisle that are big and beautiful. My kids had so much fun exploring and trying all the fun stuff, you’ll want to take at least one of these home. (Catch the spider first.)
