The official Barbie Stanley cup is here, the nostalgic pattern is so pretty

When the movie premieres in July 2023, Barbie Totally hot. Stanley cups, well, they’ve become so popular online that there are now a variety of accessories available (and hilariously satirical videos about them). So, you can imagine how crazy the internet would go if these two came together to create a line of Barbie Stanley mugs. Well, we’re going to find out together. The Stanley x Barbie Dream Quencher collection was launched on September 10th, with individual cups available on September 16th.

According to the brand, the collection celebrates Barbie’s 65th anniversary. There are eight mugs in the collection, each designed to transport Barbie lovers back to a specific decade in the doll’s life and featuring iconic look elements from those years. Of course, there’s also a very bright pink cup with Barbie’s giant iconic logo emblazoned on the side. Stanley, on the other hand, has been around for 110 years, and if you’ve ever held one of their very sturdy mugs, you know your new Ken-inspired Stanley will be too.

As for the graphics, each one is inspired by an iconic Barbie doll from the brand’s history:

  • Barbie icon: Barbie’s dreamy pink cup with her signature on it
  • Original 1959 version: Did you know the OG Barbie doll wears a black and white striped swimsuit and cat glasses?
  • Twist of the 1960s: Modern fashion and groundbreaking twistable waist, anyone?
  • Superstars of the 1970s: A nod to Barbie’s pink gown and glittering cape
  • Dynamite of the eighties: Celebrating Barbie’s first black doll
  • 80s Rock: This line of dolls is heavily influenced by MTV, and so are their mugs
  • 1980s Peaches and Cream: This design is full of 1980s luxury
  • Hello Ken: Inspired by the Western Ken Doll, Part One Proves “He Will Do It All”

Quenching agent is available in 30 oz and 40 oz sizes and retails for $50 and $60 respectively. If you’re a big Barbie fan, you can purchase the complete collection of all eight cups on Stanley’s website today for $480. But if you want to wait for your favorite items to go on sale, check back starting September 16th.
