DIY Halloween Lanterns
After downing a box of Almond Breeze, you’ve got the perfect foundation for a kid-friendly craft. Gather a few cardboard boxes, line the table with paint, markers, and other clever add-ons, and voila! You’ve got the perfect guiding light for trick-or-treating.
instruct
- Drink the Almond Breeze, then clean the carton and let it air dry.
- Use a marker to draw the outline of 4 “windows” on the front of the carton, then carefully use a box cutter and scissors to cut the holes.
- On the other side of the window, use a utility knife and scissors to carefully cut three sides of the door to create a “door.” Leave the bottom seam so that it acts as a hinge for the 3 free sides.
- Use craft paint to paint the cardboard box black.
- While it’s dry, draw ghosts, ghouls, spiders, or whatever spooky things you want on tissue paper or disposable napkins. (Dark markers work best here.)
- Once the carton is dry, glue the decorated napkin inside, directly behind the cut-out window.
- Add a flameless candle inside the lantern, close the door and enjoy!
