What three kids taught me about surviving back-to-school

As a mom of three, I hate back-to-school season. I learned the importance of strategy and organization. A smooth back-to-school schedule ensures that my children are prepared and supported and that I avoid the frustration of being overwhelmed.

With three different schedules to juggle, I have become an expert at time management. Prioritizing tasks, anticipating potential challenges, and problem solving are my superpowers.

I learned the importance of keeping an updated calendar. I can tell you the most durable brands for almost any kid-related product. I know hungry kids can’t focus on their studies, so even though we were late, no one skipped breakfast. Even on our busiest days, I toss cartons of Horizon organic milk to my crew for breakfast on the way to the bus stop.

The back-to-school transition is almost inevitably hectic, but with the right strategies and techniques, it can be a breeze.
